Scope and Content:
Programme for
Derry Frontline community play, titled, 'Threshold,' performed at the Playhouse Theatre, Derry. Contains information about community workshops, themes discussed in the project, and inspiration from previous productions by Derry Frontline and Manchester Frontline. Cover features a silhouette of a gable wall with text reading, 'You are now entering Free Derry without her consent,' - a mural that was painted by community participants as part of the Threshold project. Contents include extracts from Threshold, outline of scenes and intervals, lists of cast and production team, reflection by Mary Nelis, and essays about a Parent and Young People's Workshop, Ten Imaginements, Springhill Community House, Equality Campaign, Bloody Sunday Initiative, Tart na Córa, Women's Liberation, History of Derry Frontline, and a poem titled 'Modern Times' by Bobby Sands.
