Sarah Marie Jones, is a Belfast born actress and playwright. She is a founding member of the Charabanc Theatre Company, and a contributor to the Dubbeljoint Theatre Company. Her award-winning works include Stones in his Pockets, A Night in November, and Women on the Verge of HRT.
Marie is also an acclaimed actress and is known for her roles in Closing the Ring, In the Name of the Father, and Philomena. She was awarded an O.B.E. in the 2002 Queen’s Birthday Honours in recognition of her services to drama.
