Scope and Content:

Newspaper clipping containing an obituary for poet, Ann Zell (1933-2016). Describes Ann Zell's travels and work in Belfast, where she was a medical secretary at the Royal Victoria Hospital, contributed to the feminist magazine Women's News, and helped found Word of Mouth Poetry Collective. The article covers her political activism protesting against nuclear weapons, and involvement in anti-internment and "Troops out" campaigns. Published in the Andersonstown News, 7th May 2016. Contains a photograph of Ann Zell wearing a baseball cap.
