Scope and Content:

An extract from the Women Together Constitution, dated 6th December 1977. The document outlines three key aims; to provide 'facilities for the training and education of women' with equality at the forefront; to 'assist and supplement the work of statutory authorities and voluntary organisations' concerned with social problems and, finally, to 'establish, organise, conduct, subsidise or co-operate' in the provision of classes, study groups, meetings, research and conferences.
