Scope and Content:

Small knitted jumper with multicoloured stripes, knitted by Maria McManus for her daughter's doll in 1988/89. The jumper was found again in the drawer of her desk on her daughter's birthday more than 30 years later, and inspired an essay entitled "Rag Ends," which can be viewed at Ref: NILA/MCMA/BOX1(2).
