Scope and Content:

Typewritten update from Labour Women for Ireland, and newsletter of the London Regional Women's Committee, May 1985. Discusses an urgent request for financial donations, notes on the Labour Committee on Ireland Annual General Meeting, Strip-searches in Armagh prisons, support for Divis Flats Residents Association, upcoming meetings, and appeal for funds to facilitate a delegation of 'Relatives of women who have been or are being strip-searched in Armagh prison'. Also contains a letter from the House of Commons to Sarah Roelofs, regarding an investigation into strip-searches in Britain, and a letter of support for the Armagh delegation, from Sue Wilby, from the Chief Executive's Department of the London Borough of Camden.
