Scope and Content:

Script for a Powerpoint presentation delivered by Carol Moore about her experiences and advice for living as an actor. The presentation contains advice about self-employment, and an overview of Carol Moore's career progression including: the launch of the Charabanc theatre group with with "Lay Up Your Ends" at the Belfast Civic Arts Theatre in 1982; a tour to Russia in 1984 aided by the British/Soviet Friendship Society; researching "Now You're Talkin'" at Divis Flats; the formation of the Arts & Heritage organisation Red Lead Arts in 2003; freelance directing work at the Lyric; working with Kabosh; working as Artist in Residence at the Metropolitan Arts Centre (MAC) Belfast; achieving the Arts Council Northern Ireland "Major Individual Artist Award"; and her one-woman play, "The Experience of Being."
