Scope and Content:

Correspondence and instructions relating to Women Together's 'Northern Ireland Peace Quilt' project. The project involved creating a hand-made quilt sewn by women and women's groups and organisations to 'express love and friendship' and to highlight a 'desire for peace' in the province'. It was envisioned that each square would represent a peace theme or a theme of a particular women's group that would then be symbolically stitched together.
