Scope and Content:
Photographs of Prof Pauline Murphy standing with a display of educational material she had donated to the
Linen Hall Library for their extraORDINARYwomen project. The display, titled '"Educating Rita" - equality and training for women,' contained several items from Prof Murphy's career, including a copy of the Training for Women Network's
TWN Outlook, an article about the
Women's Opportunities Unit which she opened at Ulster University in 1985, and photographs from the
Northern Ireland Community Education Association (NICEA) which she founded in 1981. The display case also featured a selection of items from the Northern Ireland Political Collection at the Linen Hall Library, including documents donated by the Belfast Law Centre, the Vine centre, and 'Women in Law,' a project by photographer Susie Rea.
