Scope and Content:
Programme for "The Liverpool Boat," a play written by Maurice Bessman and Marie Jones, and directed by Carol Moore, about the lives of Irish people who emigrated to Liverpool in 1969. The cabaret-style production was hosted by the Docker's Club in Belfast, and the programme contains photographs and biographies of the writers, director, actors, and production team. It also includes a poem titled "Belfast Docks" by John Campbell and transcripts of excerpts from interviews with Brian McCann and Eddie O'Hare, talking about their experiences working in the Docks.
