Another World Belfast

Another World Belfast

Another World Belfast is a not-for-profit social enterprise (CIC), founded in 2017 by Rebecca Bellamy and Connor Kerr that works towards equality, inclusivity, sustainability, and long-lasting change. It is self-funded and ran on a volunteer basis with head offices in Belfast. Since 2017, the organisation has been responsible for several projects including ‘The Love Pack’ campaign whereby packs of toiletries and underwear donated by the public are collected and distributed to local people in Northern Ireland experiencing homelessness, displacement, and hardship. The organisation has also raised funds by producing and trading its own ethically sourced and sustainable products and supported community initiatives and charities such as the Rainbow Project by devising fundraising ventures that include pop-up donation-based hair salons, yoga events, and swap shops. Another World Belfast’s message of kindness and call-to-action, “Show Some Love”, can be found stencilled on locations all over the city of Belfast.

The material in this archive has been donated by Rebecca Bellamy and Connor Kerr, founders of Another World Belfast, and consists of ephemera, badges, t-shirts, and digital artwork.
