DubbelJoint Theatre Company

DubbelJoint Productions was an independent theatre company founded in 1991 by Pam Brighton, Marie Jones, and Mark Lambert. Based in West Belfast, DubbelJoint sourced new writing on local issues around culture and identity. Some of their most notable productions included Forced Upon Us (1999), Stones in his Pockets (1996), and Binlids (1997) which engaged community participants as witnesses on stage in a play about the impact of internment on communities during the Troubles. Among other productions contained in this archive, is Women on the Verge of HRT (1995) a play by Marie Jones, and directed by Pam Brighton.
